Around the Web

I'm very pleased to announce that I've joined the amazing authors over at Fangs, Fur, and Fey. If you're not familiar with FFF, it is a live journal community of Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance authors. I will be blogging in the community hopefully on something akin to a regular basis--probably, just like here, disappearing randomly when deadlines get tight. If you're a fan of UF and PR and you've never checked out the community before, you really should. There are posts there for readers and writers alike.

And speaking of blogging, today I blogged over at the Magic District about goals. In particular, in the qualities required of a good goal. It's not writing specific, but it seemed pertinent as goals and accomplishing goals, has been a topic on my mind recently.

Well, that's it for me today.

Happy Thursday everyone!

I love it too. I have also been following since there were what, five authors? It's been a dream of mine to become a member on Fangs, Fur, and Fey for years. I tried to join a couple years ago when I sold my first series, but didn't qualify. By the time I sold the second series, the membership was closed. (and closed, and closed, and closed.) I saw an announcement recently mentioning who to contact if you wanted to join. I was about a month behind in reading the post, and the user info message about membership being capped had changed but still said it was capped. I was pretty bummed, thinking I'd missed my chance to join, but I shot off an email anyway. Maybe I got lucky? I'm not sure. I'm just happy. (Imagine peering through your email and seeing me smile.)

That's awesome. Hopefully by the time I'm eligible, I'll be able to join as well. :-D
