October Events!

I can't believe it's already October. That said, I have two events coming up that I hope I'll be able to see some of you at.

Next weekend, October 15th and 16th, I will be in North Carolina for the literary weekend at the Carolina Renaissance Festival. I think this event will be a ton of fun not only because of the great writers I'll be there with, but because, well, it's Ren Faire--how can you go wrong with that?

The following weekend, October 21-23,  I'll be in Columbia, SC for RoundCon 2011.1. The writer's track is a relatively new add-on for the convention, so if you have a chance, I hope you'll come check it out. A full schedule of panels is up on the website, but here is my schedule for the con:

Friday:

Saturday:  
  • Writing a Series
  • The New World of Publishing
Sunday:
  • World-Building
  • Tension - Build it or Break it? 



It's going to be a busy couple of weeks, but I hope I get a chance to see several of you at the events!

Nothing right now, but I have the feeling I'll have a cover copy and *maybe* the cover very soon!

What's Next?

A lot of people are writing to ask if Grave Destiny is the final book in the series. I'm very happy to report that no, this is not the end! Ace has contracted one final Alex Craft novel so that I can finish up the story. I'm currently writing the first draft, and while it has a tentative title, I'm not free to share it quite yet. I'll be turning in the 7th Alex Craft novel this September, so I anticipate it will be released late 2020 or early 2021 but will update you when I have more information. So, for those of you worried that this might be the end, worry not. There is more. I hope you are enjoying Grave Destiny!
